Stanley Jackson, Jon Kowalyshen & Scott Duvall Win Continental Indoor Football League Player of the Week Awards

Stanley Jackson - CIFL Offensive Player of the Week

Marion Mayhem quarterback Stanley Jackson wins his second CIFL Offensive Player of the Week Award by throwing for eight touchdowns on the Fort Wayne Freedom.

John Kowalyshen - CIFL Defensive Player of the Week

Jon Kowalyshen tied the league record for sacks with 4 against the Wheeling Wildcats earning his second CIFL award this season, this time earning the Defensive Player of the Week Award.

Scott Duvall - Special Teams Player of the Week

Kicking against the Chicago Slaughter, 54 year old drop kicker Scott Duvall earns the CIFL Special Teams Player of the Week award this week not because he is oldest player to ever play in a CIFL game, but because Scott became one of the few kickers in the last 50 years to successfully convert a drop kick for points in a professional football game. Duvall was successful on his first drop kick conversion of the night for the Milwaukee Bonecrushers, which counts for a 2 point score in the CIFL.
