Fort Wayne Freedom quarterback Randy Hutchison earns the CIFL Offensive Player of the Week Award for Week 13 by throwing nine touchdowns on the Wheeling Wildcats in Fort Wayne. Hutch's nine touchdown tosses ties Russ Michna's league record for touchdown passes in a game.
Fort Wayne Freedom DB Scott Heighland intercepted three passes, two of which he returned for touchdowns on the Wheeling Wildcats, earning earning the CIFL Week 13 Defensive Player of the Week Award. Heighland also forced a fumble against the short Wheeling Wildcats squad.
Chicago Slaughter kicker Chris Nendick earns his third CIFL Special Teams Player of the Week award of the season by converting all seven of his extra point attempts in Madison. Nendick now owns the CIFL record for extra points converted in a single season and he joins teammate Russ Michna as the only other player to win three Continental Indoor Football League Player of the Week Awards in 2009.
